In the early stages, companies can be so focused on the growth and scale of their products and services that building and maintaining culture isn’t exactly on the roadmap. At Nest Wealth, we understood from day one just how essential creating a healthy company culture is, and we understood that it begins by offering our employees the tools they need to grow personally and professionally.
On April 26, we had the honour of being named one of the 50 Best Workplaces™ in Canada for 2019. You can read the official announcement here to learn more about this award. This award is a great and humbling acknowledgment of the company we’ve built together over the last 5 years. I couldn’t be prouder of the people I work with every day but it did make me wonder what those people liked best about working at Nest Wealth….so I asked them. Here’s what they had to say:

It became clear that the answers we consistently receive aren’t about the access to benefits, lunches, socials or even a match on the retirement savings plans that we offer. Of course, we offer all of those but I’ve never believed the way to build a great culture is to try and buy it with material ‘perks’. Instead, employees spoke to our environment and intangibles like the ‘feeling’, ‘atmosphere’, ‘energy’ and most importantly the people they worked with.
We are a Best Workplaces ™ award winner because each individual gets to be their best version of themselves here. They share their experience in a workplace that enables them to grow into their best personal and professional identities in an environment that values them as individuals.
We will succeed or fail as a start-up on the desire, passion and talent of the people that work at Nest Wealth. We have from day one believed in the power of each individual to move the company forward. One of our employees tells us, “I have the autonomy I need to make an impact in my discipline as well as outside of it.
